Irojiten means "encyclopedia of colors" in Japanese; this set of thirty colored pencils is aptly named. Indeed, colored pencils are carefully sorted in boxes that look like books in every way: each set includes three books, ten colored pencils each. Each volume is nicely numbered and has a delicate and unique color range.
The Seascape set is for artists who like to work with celestial and oceanic shades. Volume VII is titled "Fluorescence", Volume VIII "Very Pale Tone" and Volume XI "Dull Tone"; the shades are incredibly precise and refined and are superimposed. Each colored pencil is of a high quality and has a perfect finish. To be able to sort them easily, each colored pencil is engraved with a letter and a number: for example V-3 corresponds to the pencil 3 of the volume Very Pale Tone, the pencil F-1 will be the first of the volume Fluorescence. The colored pencils are waterproof, they are pre-cut and made in Japan.
